Youth Art and Expression Contest

Statement

Pivot Learning has partnered with Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth to build an integrated model that supports students restoratively and academically. With help from our design team and school sites, we are piloting new ideas, gathering new information and finalizing our guidebook for teachers and school leaders.

Biography

Are you a student that attends a K-12 school? Do you have ideas about how we can create new ways of learning in school that feel restorative and supportive? Do you like to write, draw, or sing?

Then please consider submitting your ideas to our Restorative Schools Art Contest!

We are working on developing a guidebook for teachers and want to include student voice, ideas and opinions about how to create restorative and supportive schools. In order to do this, we would like to highlight your voice and artwork in our future publication. Awards will be given to the top ten (10) submissions and all submissions will be showcased at our end of the year virtual gathering.

If you have any quesitons, please contact Nicodemus Ford, Senior Program Manager, Pivot Learning at nford@pivotlearnign.org or at 510-316-2515

Thanks so much and we look forward to seeing you submissions!
